Here is our cat, Blacks.  He got his name because in our neighborhood in Phoenix there were various cats:  the fluffy cat, the calico cat, the grey kitty, and so forth.  Of course, we originally called Blacks "the black cat."  Blacks was a stray, and as such was always very dirty.  His favorite spot to hang out was under the cars in the parking lot.  I suppose it was cooler there, and in Phoenix, cool is important.  Anyway, he would come visit our other cat, Pareil, (the best cat ever, but now deceased), and we got to know him.  His fur was so black from the asphalt, that we used to wonder if he were really a white cat under a black exterior!
